Deutsch Kanadisches Luftwaffenmuseum

Im Zentrum der Ausstellung stehen Flugzeuge der kanadischen und deutschen Luftstreitkräfte wie Canadair F-86 Mk.6 Sabre, Lockheed F-104 G Starfighter, Fiat G-91 und ein einzigartiger Prototyp der Firma EADS, Rockwell Ranger 2000, ein Kandidat für das US Joint Primary Aircraft Training System, sowie verschiedene Kolben- und Strahltriebwerke.

Flugzeuge und Triebwerke wurden durch den Verein in mühevoller Arbeit restauriert. Derzeit befindet sich eine Lockheed T-33 in der Restauration und soll die Ausstellung ab Mitte 2010 bereichern. Ergänzt wird die Ausstellung durch eine umfangreiche Modellsammlung von Militärflugzeugen und von multimedialen Vorführungen mit Filmen und Dias. Ein Besuch des Museums soll nicht nur informativ, sondern auch unterhaltsam sein. Im Museumsshop werden Luftfahrtliteratur, Flugzeugmodelle und alte, dekorative Flugzeugteile angeboten.

The museum's objective is threefold: To remind of the presence of Canadian Air Forces on the former military airbase Baden-Soellingen for more than 40 years, their contribution to the Allied Defense of Central Europe, their co-operation with the Deutsche Luftwaffe within NATO and to show in an exemplary way the technical development of military aviation.

The exhibition offers numerous artifacts of the Canadian era military installations, equipment, souvenirs, photographs and documentary material. Focal points are aircraft of the Canadian and German air forces such as Canadair F-86 Mk.6 Sabre, Lockheed F-104 G Starfighter, Fiat G-91, a unique prototype, the Rockwell Ranger 2000, a jet trainer candidate for the US Joint Primary Aircraft Training System as well as various piston- and jet- aircraft engines. The aircraft and engines have been painstakingly restored by the association.
